These include a fuel tax logger, remote ASCII printer, serial data link
for the SAE J1708 and J1587 bus and a pulse frequency divider.
SERIAL DATA LINK takes advantage of the engine Electronic Control
Module and of the SAE BUS (J1708 and J1587) and provides pulse outputs of Speed, RPM,
Fuel and Fault Codes, directly to trip recorders, tachographs, speedometers, tachometers, etc.
PULSE DIVIDER used in situations where the pulse rate from the
vehicle speed sensor exceeds the taximeter capability. An electronic circuit
provides a square wave output signal of 5.0 volt and selectable divide ratios
of 1, 2, 4 and 8. The divide by 1 ratio is used to reshape a weak signal.
REMOTE ASCII PRINTER a 16 characters/line remote ASCII printer
that was designed to be used with the Silent 610 taximeters but can also be
used with any products requiring a RS232 or TTL communication interface.
FUEL TAX LOGGER was designed with the truck driver exigent
requirements in mind. The FTL automatically records, displays and prints state line
crossing, beginning and ending odometer readings, highway numbers, and other
information useful for the fuel tax report.
