The SERIAL DATA LINK PULSE CONVERTER (SDL), was
designed to take advantage of the information present in the engine/vehicle
Electronic Control Module of today's electronic engines and other systems,
allowing pulse driven equipment such as trip recorders, tachographs, etc.,
to work directly from electronic engines control modules.
The SERIAL DATA LINK PULSE CONVERTER (SDL) is
compatible with the SAE J1708 and J1587 Bus and provides appropriate pulse
outputs of Speed, RPM, Fuel and Fault Codes, directly to trip recorders,
tachographs, speedometers, tachometers, etc., eliminating the need for
additional sensors, as well as yielding significant savings where real time
fuel inputs are desired, by eliminating the need for expensive mechanical
fuel flow sensors.
Other features of the SDL are:
- Default calibration values are provided eliminating the need for adjustment.
Other calibration values are available if required
- Fault codes
- Small dimensions: 101.62mm x 76.21mm x 38.10mm (4" x 3" x 1.5")
