The "Silent 1020" HANDHELD INPUT UNIT
provides a convenient and user friendly interface with the "Silent 1000"
Vehicle Mounted Unit (VMU).
A LCD Module with back lighting and a keypad
with 38 color coded-keys in three groups: 12 numeric keys in orange, 8
command/adjustments keys in white and 18 programmable function keys in
yellow. These keys form the drivers interface. The 18 programmable keys can
be programmed to perform Menu, Data or Auto functions as well as customer
defined input functions. The fist line of the LCD is
used to display the input title and the second line displays the item or the
function associated information.
